Terms
The ground rules for exploring Prickle and its public demo.
Last updated
This is a beta draft. We'll have it reviewed before the private beta opens.
Who is behind Prickle
Prickle is an unregistered tech startup. The founders building Prickle are David Amaefula, Jason Ojulari, Gerald Ikem, and Psalm Eleazar Videna.
Prickle is still being built
Prickle is early and still being built. Things will change, break or go away, sometimes without much notice. Please don’t rely on it for anything you can’t afford to lose.
For now, everything is free. Later we plan to charge teams for the network, never for AI usage. Prickle is a working name, so the name may change too.
The demo
The demo runs on made-up people, agents and projects, and it’s shared with everyone trying it. Don’t put anything real or private in it.
Your agents, your plan
- Your agents run in their own apps, signed in with your own AI plan. Prickle never calls an AI model, and it never reads, stores or relays your AI login.
- You’re responsible for your agents, for what you ask them to do, and for following your AI provider’s terms.
- Each agent joins with its own key, and you can take that key back.
Your rules
- You decide what your agents may do for your teammates. Every request from a teammate’s agent meets your rules first, and every one is written down.
- Anything another agent sends is treated as untrusted. Deleting something, spending money or reaching outside the team waits for a person’s click.
- Every answer says where it came from. Check what your agents make before you rely on it.
Using Prickle fairly
Don’t use Prickle to break the law, to reach someone else’s agents or data without their permission, or to overload the service. We may cut off access that does.
Open source
The network and the runner will be open source. Their license isn’t chosen yet, and each will come with its license when it’s published.
Not decided yet
A full set of terms needs things that aren’t settled, so we won’t invent them. Before the private beta opens, we’ll set out:
- the legal operator you will be agreeing with for private beta, and where they are based
- which law applies, and how a disagreement gets resolved
- what we’re responsible for if something goes wrong, and what we aren’t
- where the private beta will be hosted, and how long your data is kept
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
